York County Arrest Records

The York County Sheriff's Office, Rock Hill Police Department, and Fort Mill Police Department are responsible for the majority of York County arrests. These departments create a file for each apprehended person and document the individual's biodata, offense, and custody status.

Because most arrested individuals are subsequently booked into the local detention center, the YCSO's inmate roster can be considered the official online public resource for York County arrest records. The database, however, does not include information on people released without jail intake.

The public can review this roster for an arrestee's personal details, including a mugshot, booking, bond, or release information, and charge details. However, juvenile bookings or arrest data expunged under S.C. Code § 17-1-40 do not appear on the roster.
